After many months of music score analysis and pre-production planning, in late May, 2014, a select group of instrumental musicians assembled in Leighton Concert Hall at the University of Notre Dame's DeBartolo Performing Arts Center to join soprano Georgine Resick in rendering a dramatic and powerful presentation of Arnold Schoenberg's avant-garde masterpiece – a setting of a collection of 21 poems – entitled PIERROT LUNAIRE. This masterwork, now more than 100 years old, is still considered as fresh and as true an expression of the avant-garde as it was a century ago. The work has been studied and performed worldwide, and still fascinates concert goers and music theorists alike. The pursuit of a cinematic preservation of Ms. Resick's interpretation of PIERROT LUNAIRE is an outgrowth of the highly compelling and acclaimed concert performance which Ms. Resick and conductor Tsung Yeh gave of the work at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center in 2013.

Producer / director Frederick Hohman has headed up a hand-picked team of audio and video specialists. The compelling interpretation of soprano Georgine Resick, coupled with the intimacy of cinematic interpretation from director Hohman, promises to reach a summit in the realm of the classical music video experience.

An early 2015 premiere is anticipated.
